Restorative Yoga
This class will have passive, gentle poses held for extended periods of time with focus on improving mental/physical health and releasing tension. All levels welcome. Christine Veit – Thursday 4-5pm; Jaz Boler – Friday & Saturday 5-6pm
Mindfulness Meditation
A warm welcome to pause and be still, check in with yourself, and allow whatever’s arising for you during this Shakori Hills Festival. Mindfulness meditation is a silent practice in which focusing on our breath helps us cultivate ease, presence, curiosity, compassion and many other qualities with whatever we encounter in life. Slow Flow
A soothing blend of gentle movements, slow-flow yoga, breathwork and sound healing designed to harmonize the mind, body and spirit. All levels welcome. Ce’Ara Cannon – Friday 8-9am; Saturday 2-3pm
Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini yoga involves chanting, singing and breathing exercises along with repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti. This is a spiritual energy that’s said to be located at the base of your spine. Vinyasa
Vinyasa is a yoga practice connecting movement to breath. Expanding and stretching the connective tissues and energy flow of the body, this practice is moving meditation. Accessible to all levels.

Classical Yoga

Sivananda

Sun Yoga
Salute the Sun with a vigorous, vinyasa based flow class. Suited towards those with previous yoga experience.Included are longer sequences, balance, strength building and deep rest. Christine Veit – Saturday 9-10am
Tensegrity
Comprised of the terms “tension” and “integrity,” Tensegrity is a modern version of held poses and muscle movement called “magical passes,” developed by Shamans in Mexico prior to the Spanish conquest. Jordan Puryear – Dance Tent, Saturday 10am
