Advocacy and Nonprofit Vendor Information & Application Procedures

Spring Festival Deadline for Applications is April 15th.

Selection: Groups selected to be represented at the festival will receive notification 2 weeks after the application deadline along with a form to submit your $50 non-refundable booth fee. OR call the office if you need to submit your fee another way.

Booth restrictions: Advocacy groups and nonprofits are not allowed to sell items, but can raffle off items to raise money. We also ask our nonprofits not to give away items, and then ask for a donation for that item.

Terms of Contract Agreement: Your application as a nonprofit vendor is subject to review by our review committee. It is the mission of Shakori Hills GrassRoots to serve our local community first, and then extend the opportunity for non-locally based nonprofit ventures to exhibit secondarily.

Space/Set-up: The festival only provides the space for organizations to set-up. We do not provide shelter, tables, chairs, extension cords etc. Please be prepared for inclement weather! The nonprofit vending is located directly across from the Grove Stage. Orange flags divide the spaces into 10×10 lots. Please set up between the flags. Please do not block the trail to the Healing Arts tent (located near the bridge).

Festival tickets for your volunteers: Once selected, your booth fee confirms a 10 x 10 space and two (2) single day passes per day for volunteers OR two (2) 4-Day passes. If you require additional volunteers to work your booth, they will need to purchase tickets in advance or at the gate. Parking is not included and is $5 per day or $10 for the weekend. You will pick up your tickets under your organization’s name at Will-Call upon arrival at the festival.

Agreement: By submitting your application, you are agreeing to the above terms and to be responsible for your booth, all contents of it and your volunteers, to set-up the booth by 4 pm on the Thursday of the festival and remain set-up through Sunday at 6 pm, and to keep the contents of your booth in line with the non-profit organization’s mission.

**Please note that direct access via car will not be available after the Wednesday of festival week. On Wednesday and before, set-up can be done by car, after Wednesday, all display materials must be carried from the parking area to the non-profit area.**

The Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival is delighted to have you join us. While we trust your good intentions to represent your agency, we reserve the right to evaluate your presentation and determine if it falls in line with the Shakori Hills GrassRoots mission.
